Wintery Songs in Eleventy Part Harmony is a voice- and strings-focused band that celebrates new arrangements of sacred, secular and pop holiday music. This all female collaborative revels in re-interpreting the sounds of the season with equal parts reverence and irreverance. Instigators Jennifer Kimball and Rose Polenzani share an outsized passion for Christmas music and gorgeous harmony singing. Together, they've assembled an all star group of co-conspirators who rearrange familiar tunes and welcome lesser known wintery gems. Audience members are invited to join in on any number of carols or hymns including Children, Go Where I Send Thee and Heck the Dalls, a spoonerism version of Deck the Halls or the unusual number featuring Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas sung at the same time as Christmastime is Here.

Wintery Songs is a sort of POPS in a teacup — with a small piece of cinnamon bark and a splash of whiskey.

The band will release their second album for the 2027 holidays; and will offer a three-song promotional cd this year with selections from the upcoming release. Wintery Songs’ first album HARK (2015) represents the musical mix their live show is known for: a bit of Sinatra swagger, some iconic Nutcracker pieces, foot-stomping traditional tunes, haunting new arrangements of well-known songs and some beautiful original tunes.
